Third Degree

The process has begun, the water has picked up wind and is starting to (s)wave.
Been to a couple places today to get my demo/EP/short mixtap out into the world. Obviously online but also on the analoge.

I just hope we can get something going. I know how these dudes are. They get a million demo's a day and most of them (like 98%) is GARBAGE! And it must be frustrating to have to go through all these motherfucking demo's of people who think they can actually produce music (or art, as I like to call it). The right person gotta find the right CD and we might get off to a right start. Otherwise it's just gonna be the long hard but oh so beautiful road of music. No end in sight, just the amazing ride of every kick, drum, snare, hihat, base, letter, word, sentence and verse.

For those who don't know, the beef between 50 Cent and Rick Ross has erupted. It is starting to get heated. Rick Ross took a jab at 50 on "Maffia Music", then 50 hit back with "Officer Ricky Try Me", the "Officer Ricky Cartoon" and then the "Warning Shot" videomessage.
Now it's been taken to a whole new level with 50 inviting Ricky's baby's mama to share her story (not a good look for Ricky) and take her and her girlfriend shopping LMAO. It's just insane.

(Not so) Friday Night

Friday Night, I'm supposed to be OUT.
Party, Music, Dance, Drinks etc, you know the deal.
I'm here waiting on Jay, he went boarding and was coming to pick me up on the way back. So he just texts me at 1:30 AM that the driver lost the carkeys and they're stuck down there. DAMN
He'll be back at about 3:30 AM and there won't be any use in us going anymore, so FUCK IT, I'm going to bed.
So before I get boring and hop in my bed, I just wanted to let you know something.

*Sorry I just gotta laugh at myself using "you" as in the "people reading my blog" when they don't exist LOL"

But anyway, Today, we finished a new track. It's called "Can't See" and it will be present on the DEMO (Swave - Break Through). So, that's the last track.
It was hard for me cause it was a track about breaking up. I've only been through 1 break-up and that wasn't even a bad one. But it did leave a scar (Scar Tissue Blog) and I must say, it had more of an impact than I thought it would have. Anyway, this wasn't really a "I'm closing the book/dealing with it" track, it was more of a heartfelt REALITY guided expression of what I feel. And I know most rappers don't feel, but hey, I TOLD YOU I WAS REAL.

From now on we'll be working on the C.Brokx Demo ( C.Brokx - 'Still Untitled' LOL).
I'm going to Delft on Thursday to visit Flow, we'll go out, party etc (make up for tonight) and on Friday I'll be heading to A'dam to spread the word on my DEMO (Which will be available for download very soon including tracks that didn't make the 6+1 cut)
I will let you know (LOL @ the "you" again) how it went.

"Lift your leg Up"

So I'm sitting here at work, f*cked up with my leg in the air.

Yesterday we had a game againt this bunch of farmers on a frozen pitch, it was like an icering (only not as smooth)
So I tick the ball past this moron looking jackass and that dumbmotherf*cker just runs through me.
In the falling back motion I twist my ankle on the Rocky Mountains pitch, I take of my shoe and sock and there's and EasterEGG on my ankle. I was so pissed I really could've hurt someone yesterday..

Had Ice on it, it's all bandaged up and I have to keep it lifted upwards (As if this is new for me) I wonder if I'm supposed to get injured every 3 months or am I just one unlucky motherf*cker (well at least I'm not a moron looking jackass LOL)

Let's juts hope it's not too bad..

What is going on?

This young boy named Adolf Hitler, who we told you about cause a local supermarket refused to make a birthday cake with his name on it, has been taken away from his parents by authorities, according to a local website.

LehighValleyLive.com reports that Adolf and his sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation, 1, and 8-month-old Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie, were removed from their home by New Jersey's Division of Youth and Family Services.

No reason was given for why the children were removed, however, and Holland Township police chief David Van Gilson told the site they had not received any reports of abuse or negligence.Back in December, the boy's parents, Heath and Deborah, were outraged when a local ShopRite declined to provide them with cake for Adolf's birthday."They're just names, you know," Heath Campbell told the Easton Express-Times in December. "Yeah, they (the Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They're not going to grow up like that."

However, Heath reportedly denies the Holocaust and their home is decorated with swastikas.The parents were to attend a hearing regarding their children on Tuesday, but it was apparently postponed.

So I just read this short article and there's just one question that pops up in my mind:
Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?
I mean, yes, they have the right to name their children what they like
BUT
Think about the future of these children.
Who the hell is going to hire someone called Adolf Hitler for example? This has nothing to do with what the child can or cannot do but it's like trying to find a job after you've come out of prison OR worse.
What where these parents thinking? Probably only of themselves. Believe what you want to believe and do what you want to do, but don't ruin your child's future in the process.
Luckily we can change our names now-a-days..

Complain..

Damn, I hate work.
I'm talking about work that you don't really want to do, but you forced into doing.
I'm moving to Utrecht in August. But untill that time, I gotta make due with my current situation.
Working for money, playing football for money and the only time I'm cool is when I'm with my girl, chilling with friends, behind the mic or when I'm writing.
I don't wanna wish my time away but I really wish is was July. Summertime, holiday, moving, and closer to a new start.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not really complaining cause I know I'm blessed.
It's just, we get used to what we have, and we just don't appreciate it the way we should. It's like you've got people that are living their dream and still complain about giving an interview or doing a show.
Complaining about the fact that the new Porsche 911 turbo is coming out and they just bought the old model so it won't be a good look. Complaining about the absence of champaigne on a plaine.

Take some time out and reflect on your life. Be happy for what you've got. And don't wish your time away.

I'll try and do the same.. LOL
