So yesterday JayD came by the house. He went straight for the mic like a dude out a prison go's straight for his girl and food LOL.
There was some passion on that track, DAMN
It's his first track standing on his own 2, and the tune was crazy.
Of course I had to a get a lil' feature in, you know when I hear a tune like that the inkt starts flowing like Niagra falls. I'll post the lyrics up soon..

New Name..

So I've been up searching for a new way to name my blog.

First it was CBrokx. That came off of the music we were making as the group C.Brokx. But seeing as I'm not using the blog for that reason I wanted to give it a new name.

I still wanted to keep it musically inspired because that's just a part of me. So I started brainstorming:
- Speakerz (USED, LAME, PLAYED OUT)
- BeatBlog (LAME)
- Sound (BORING)

- Musyq (INTERESTING, SEMI-BITTEN (Musiq Soulchild))
- Wave (BORING)

After that, I came up with this:
- Swave

That shit sounds dope as HELL.
I googled it and found no known artists using the same name. I also found out about the
S.WAVE
: a wave (as from an earthquake) in which the propagated disturbance is a shear in an elastic medium (as the earth)

If I add my own meaning
SWAVE
: Sound Wave

It's got a great dubble meaning and it sounds good. It's short and easy to remember. I think we have ourselves a winner.

Charles Hamilton

This post is in (kinda) Pink, if you know who it's about you'll know why..

So, it's been a couple of weeks since I found out about Charles Hamilton (Damn I wished I lived in New York to be on top of things that happen in the birthplace of HipHop) and to be real with you, I think he's the next B.I.G. thing.
He's creative as f*ck, a real musician (not the kind that's blinded by the light) and the music is amazing.
Now, to be honest, I like it when people are a lil' arrogant (if you want to call it that) , and not so over the top humblel. Think of a Eric Cantona, a 50 Cent, a Thierry Herny, Kanye West, a Berbatov and many others. They all have an aura about them and same goes for Charles.
I'ma stop before I start sounding like a Stan but watch out for his music.. (On the Right of my Blog you'll see a link to his blog and the video for 'Brooklyn Girls' and i'll put it in this post as well cause it's that dope)

1st (real) Day of the Year

2nd day of 2009 and it's the first day I will actually witness..
Goddamn
Yesterday I was so f*-ed up it was crazy, my worst hang over EVER. Stayed in bed till like 4 o'clock and felt bad till 6.
But
As today is my first day, I'd like to inform you of my (second) (real) reinvention of my blog. I said I would do something with it, but it never happened.

Wishing everyone all the best for 2009

Make it a year where your dreams come from just a dream to reality. Maybe not all at once but if by the end of the year you have made one of you dreams come true, it will have been a succesfull year!'
I too, am going to persue my dreams, challenge the ones that tell me no, and prove to everyone that I am not just a regular, period.
Don't want to sound cocky or arrogant, but we are all special. And it's the choices we make that detemine what we make of ourselves.
You can take the safe road and breeze through life without a care.
Or
You can go out on a lim, show yourself, open yourself up, expose yourself and make the best out of this short rollercoaster that we call life.
